Monday is strike. Below is a copy and paste of our work groups as take time cleaning the space, enjoying each other’s company and saying goodbye to this story which has been such a huge part of us for the past few months.
Alice in Wonderland: Strike List 2021

Responsibilities: Discard broken or perishable items. Organize and return all remaining prop items to storage, or to individuals they were borrowed from. The stage right props room should be organized and cleared, ready for the next show. Both stage right props storage should be cleaned, floors swept, and garbage items emptied outside. Additionally, loft prop storage should be organized, cleaned and swept. Stage right props room locked after Shelton or Kayla has signed off. You may be assigned to another crew should you finish early. In order to be finished you must have your area checked off by Shelton or Kayla. Thank you.
LIGHTS, SOUND & PROJECTION CREW
Responsibilities: Take down instruments, projector and fixtures. Organize equipment into two sections. La Salle equipment and rented equipment. Rented equipment will be loaded into Dan Elsner’s van. La Salle equipment will be returned to house settings or storage. Projector will go with Dan to be returned to the rental company. All actor microphones will be neatly, cleanly put away and returned to microphone storage. All batteries returned to battery storage. All rented running crew headsets, organized and taken to Shelton’s office to be returned to the rental company. You may be assigned to another crew should you finish early. In order to be finished you must have your area checked off by Dan or Kayla. Thank you.
COSTUME SHOP & LOFT
Responsibilities: The costume shop needs to be cleaned. This includes, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash to exterior garbage, cleaning, organizing and putting away all costume, make-up, wig etc, materials in their designated sections. Returning all La Salle costumes to the costume loft, organizing them in the loft and hanging items back on hangers in loft. All La Salle costumes, including shoes, should be organized and returned to the loft.
All personal items should be returned to the individuals. All items borrowed or rented from another organization should be nicely organized into sections to be returned to those organizations. If you finish early you may be assigned to another group. In order to be finished you must have your area checked off by Molly or Kayla. Thank you.
Responsibilities: Specific set pieces need to be completely deconstructed and taken to recycling. Other set pieces need to be partially deconstructed. All materials need to be returned to storage areas, including reused lumber and other building materials. Scenic Dressings need to be taken down and put into storage. Hardware, such as handles, hinges and casters need to be removed and put into storage. Soft goods such as fabrics need to be boxed and returned to storage. Additionally, the Lighting Storage Room needs to be swept, cleaned and organized. The tool and paint storage room needs to be swept, cleaned and organized with all like items being returned to their storage space. All trash needs to be emptied to the exterior trash compactor. You may be assigned to another crew should you finish early. In order to be finished you must have your area checked off by Shelton or Kayla. Thank you.
DRESSING & GREEN ROOMS, BACKSTAGE, HOUSE, LOBBY
Responsibilities: Using the cleaning supplies provided please clean and organize the dressing rooms. This includes but is not limited to removing all personal items. Sanitizing | wiping down all surfaces. Returning all costumes and make-up supplies to proper storage areas. Cleaning mirrors, sweeping floors, removing trash to exterior trash bins. Green Room. Sweep floor. Restack all chairs. Erase white board. Sweep the main hallway backstage. Remove all trash from Green Room | Band room and from the back hallway. House. Sweep between all seat isles. Vacuum floor, including sound light booth. Empty all trash cans and remove personal items. Lobby same as house. Backstage. Same as house. You may be assigned to another crew should you finish early.
